• The drill string is rotated and the bit cuts into the earth,using the same concept as a simple hand drill. Cuttings from the drilling are flushed upwards out of the drill hole during the drilling process. The well hole is then lined with a casing, usually made out of steel or durable plastic pipe.After a well is drilled, a water pump is installed to draw water from the well into your property’s water system. In most cases we recommend that a pump test be performed to clear the water, establish an accurate flow rate and drawdown test. At this time the well should be thoroughly disinfected to insure there is no bacteria present in the well and in some cases a detailed water analysis is required or recommended. After this your water pump/system is ready to be installed.
  • We use the latest drilling techniques and equipment, including Foremost dual-rotary drills.
  • This includes drilling, screening, and developing water wells in some of the most challenging formations, including unconsolidated overburden such as heaving sand, gravel, glacial till and boulders.
  • We can come out to your site and provide you with an assessment of your project needs. Typically, a domestic well takes one to two days to produce. We also offer an optional pump test following completion of your project.
